AMC's exception is perhaps most
discerning from others in its approach to creating self-driven
departments. Each department is provided independent infrastructure
and is self-contained to a very large extent. The heads of
these departments assume complete charge of the departments
- teaching, management, development, research, industry interaction,
etc and are ably supported by a team of Professors, Asst.
Professors, Lecturers and technical/administrative staff.
With complete clarity on the core
concentration of the stream of study, they are able to device
their own innovative pedagogy drawing inspiration from other
departments and organizations outside AMC.
