M. TECH COURSES

Post Graduate Engineering courses started in the year 2004 for the M.E. Programme prepares the students for higher level of global careers in the fields of Computer. The comprehensive course structure integrates technological and application aspects of computer science to provide the necessary skills in all the areas of computer applications and management.

A modern computer center with the latest software and continuous access to Internet provides ample opportunities to the students to learn and adapt to newer skills.

A few candidates will get working / teaching opportunities to further enhance their knowledge base.

Keeping in mind the explosive growth that has taken place in the various disciplines of software technologies, the department has applied for various M. Tech level programs in Software Technology and has obtained sanction to conduct the following Post Graduate Engineering courses from 2004.

• Computer Engineering
• Digital Electronics
• Software Engineering
• Computer Network Engg.
• Information Technology.

ADMISSION

The in-take of each course is 18 students. The Management will not take any direct admissions for M Tech Courses. Students aspiring to join the courses should write PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by VTU Belgaum. The admission notification will be published in the press in the month of July. Alternatively the details and the application for participation can be down loaded from VTU website www.vtu.ac.in

GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission by VTU. They have to apply by obtaining the application from: however they are exempted from appearing written test.
